Saving Time and Money with PowerAutomate and GIS The City of Decatur, IL owns several hundred vacant lots. The mowing of these lots was contracted out by the City. The cost was $700,000/year. In 2024, the City used GIS as a solution to manage their maintenance. Using Survey123, Field Maps, and Microsoft Power Automate, Decatur has effectively monitored the maintenance of City-owned land.
